so here's the first good pic of the new hair color i've been rocking. couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out :) i think the Burgundy/Auburn suits me really well and it just makes my dreads look so much better. for exact info on the colors and type of hair i used check last months blog entries!

here's a shot from pics i took today modeling my new WOLF CRAFT Necklace. i'll be working on a few more to post tomorrow that focus a little more on my new(ish) hair as well. i also want to mention that i took this pic with my pro camera but did almost all the editing with my iPhone. maybe using filters is the easy way out but i always seem to find one that gives me the exact feel i'm looking for

(i'm assuming i'll get this question so i'll just say now that i'm not totally sure where i got my Ouija Board shirt at. i've had it since high school so really it could be from anywhere. i don't wear it a lot because it says 'Eternally Fine' at the bottom :p which i don't really like ...but it does glow in the dark :)

a month from today i'll be on a plane back to MI for most of May :):) and a few days after that i'll finally be hitting a show after a year absence! will be seeing Papa Roach in IL with a bunch of my concert Fam, really can't wait to see them, and all my other friends and family. this has been my longest time away from home ever, not gonna lie i'm pretty excited to go back.

Today I tackled the task of braiding someone else's hair. It was harder than I expected, it's actually easier doing my own but I'm sure that's from all the practice I've had. It was a good experience and I'd consider doing it again now that I know what I'm getting into.

I'll post pics and all that later. Right now I'm just going to drink a beer (or two) and (analyze to death) I mean watch the new Hannibal series premiere.

not much to report today, just finished up jewelry pieces that will be up in the store in a few days (will be busy tomorrow doing a coworkers hair so i probably won't finish taking pics and such till Thursday). then i'll probably take some new photos modeling jewelry and hair pics. also still have to edit and post pics from last months events :p

need to mention how crazy fast the days have been going lately. before i know it, it's 2 in the afternoon and i feel like i've lost most of the day. i know it comes with age and it only moves faster from here on, but i don't think it's something i'll ever be used to.

Finally made it to a bead store in the area I've wanted to visit for awhile. They had lots of nice items at good prices and a lot of what I was looking for. Grabbed these awesome beads and some wire for WOLF CRAFT bracelets I'll be working on tonight.

I'm branching out into using more natural materials and semi-precious beads in my work, stones that have actual properties so I can put intent into my pieces, and right now it's a main focus of my WOLF CRAFT collection. It's a slow progress as these kind of materials are more expensive, but the more I sell the more I'll be able to make.

i started the day walking up the biggest hill i ever have in my life to get to an area i hadn't been yet to drop off resumes. unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, it was a slightly upper scale area and i was even told flat out at one place their bosses wouldn't hire me with my facial piercings (which i'd rather find out early in the game anyway than go through the interview process only to be let down in the end). it sucks but that's the way it is and i'm getting used to it. it's a lot better than MI as even my hair would be a major issue there and that hasn't seemed to come up in any of the places i've applied.

i also came across this amazing taxidermy type store while i was out. i walked in because they had a help wanted sign but immediately knew i wouldn't be able to work there as they sell fur products and i'm pretty against that (there were also petrified insects, like spiders as big as my head so that was another drawback for me). but they were also selling lots of items i'm dying to include in my jewelry like bones and skulls, BUT i just can't work with those kinds of materials without knowing if they were humanely obtained and the animal died of natural causes. i'm leaning towards creating that kind of stuff out of clay but i guess it's nice to know there's an actual supplier in town if i ever change my mind.

so more on topic i doubt any of the places i dropped my resume at will be contacting me :p and the search continues.

Check out this amazing dress I found on Tumblr. I've been searching for a plain black dress with a collar but the print just makes it so much better. This is sort of at the top of my want list but it's sold out and super pricey :p

(btw, it glows in the fucking dark ^-^)

i had lots of fun last week and i'll have pics from the events i hit in upcoming blog entries. but this week is all about work, i'll finally be getting to the new moon pendants, getting all the brooches i've been working on up in the shop, and also need to do some serious spring cleaning in my room.

i'm also thinking of doing some type of giveaway, anyone who buys something from my store in the month of April will be entered to win. prize TBA soon!
