i've slowly been posting a few pics here and there of all the items on my shelf, i like giving a close up view of the stuff i collect. this is definitely one of my fave areas ^-^ i really have a huge book collection and left most of them in MI but hope to bring more back with me when i visit in May

 after i take pics of everything i'll make a post with all the shots and give a little more info on some of the items and where i got them.

big apologies for my longest absence ever from posting. been somewhat antisocial lately and i usually just take a break from everything including the internet when i'm in that mood. i'm really going to try and get back to posting on a regular basis :p i've also been brainstorming a lot for my store too, trying to cook up some new items but to no avail. pretty frustrating but i'm going to keep at it till i formulate something great ;) hopefully sooner rather than later.

C R A F T I N G

used some of my Minnie Mouse ribbon to spice up an old Body Shop box for a cute place to put my makeup ^-^ i've always got boxes laying around and i'm really in need of more containers to organize my room with so i'll definitely be making more. great way to save money and customizing stuff for yourself is always fun :):)

(also turned my new mug into a place to stash stuff)

i'm sure i'll end up adding other charms patches and stuff like that in the long run.

better pics of the new do

i'll be honest in saying that i kind of liked the colors i had before better :p but i like the overall look more, i think the dreads really fit this time. think i'll be going even shorter on the bangs too, i'm tired of my eyes always being hidden. one of my worst habits after finally completing is already planning what i'm going to do to my hair next -_- hehe. i'm thinking i'll use the Raspberry Crush as the main color with a little of the Pixie Pink mixed in to blend with the dreads. but i've got about three months to worry about that ;)

i'll probably be snapping lots of pics all month as i've got a photo shoot coming up in April and i like to work on posing and all that. also job hunting going down within the next week which probably means i'm gonna hit the bar this weekend  ^-^ if not tonight/tomorrow i plan on going crazy next weekend on St. Patty's Day for sure.

The Killing

finally started watching the Killing today. i know i'm a bit late but i always seem to get on to series after they're in the spotlight. i really enjoyed it so far, was a little skeptical about the cast in general but by the end of the pilot episode i was into it ;) hopefully i'll be able to catch the whole season this time around.

also overdosed on Shameless today ^-^ watched almost the entire 2nd season and reconfirmed the fact that it really is the best show out there :)
