Devil's Night

will be stepping out for Devil's Night with my friend Benn! Trick or Treating bar style ;) hopping around to all the hot spots in downtown Kzoo (there aren't many :p). possible costume contest too, definitely gonna be a good time.

i had an excellent time at Slash Mob last night! great DJs, good drinks, awesome costumes, and lots of my friends around. was so busy dancing i didn't take as many pics as i would have liked but i'll post the ones i did get in the next couple of days. there were also some pro photogs there so i'll be keeping an eye out for other pics too. might lay low until Halloween but i'm determined to go out one more time before this holiday is over! zombie school girl werewolf costume a definite possibility :):)

C O S T U M E

barely have time to make an update but i wanted to post my costume for tonight

i am really torn on if i should bloody it up or not because it's really nice :p i just can't help but get gory tonight though :) may just put it on my face, arms, and socks.

also ran out for some last minute costume accessories

couldn't help but grab this rockin Hustler skit too. it was on sale and i've been looking for one like it for ages. definitely a birthday gift to myself ^-^ gotta jet now, will be getting ready for tonight soon. i'll make sure to take lots of pics.

H A L L O W E E N

here's a quick blog in honor of my favorite holiday, Halloween. i snapped a few pics at some of the local Halloween stores i visited over the past month

and some less creepy decorations from Michaels and Target

for those who don't know i'll be dressing up as Alice and the Rabbit :) i'm hoping to get a chance to do a little photo shoot in my costume for the site before i wear it out but that's doubtful. the first party i'm going to is tomorrow night and i'll be pretty busy till then. and there's no telling what kind of debauchery i'll get into so hopefully i don't ruin it :p here's the event i'm attending

i did want to goto Detroit as there are a lot of big parties going on but it's just too costly to try and make plans this late in the game. i also want to support the fact we're having a bigger event in Kzoo, it's definitely been awhile. so hopefully i'll have some costume pics to post sometime tomorrow. i leave you with the only bloody shot i was able to snap this month. as you can see my blog design is slowly coming along :p i hope to be finished with most of it by tonight so i can really start posting and promoting it. i also want to get a little info section up on the 365 day challenge and why i'm doing it. so please excuse my dust for a few days longer while i get more familiar with Blogger, should have everything in full swing by the end of the month ;)

Birthday Blog

since i started this blog on my birthday, i thought it'd be appropriate for the first real entry to cover my 29th birthday activities! this past Saturday (the day before my bday) i was lucky enough to have the Kalamazoo Horror Fest in town, pretty much the perfect place for someone like me to celebrate :) i decided to dress up like Jigsaw from the Saw movies

i wasn't expecting it to be that big as Kzoo is a pretty small town but i ended up having a really good time. there were lots of great actors there like Margot Kidder who played Lois Lane in the Superman movies and also starred in the original Amityville Horror

(she was really into my hair ^-^)

and Mark Patton from A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2

(my sis on the left, she was the nurse from Silent Hill)

we made good friends with the actor from Sleepaway Camp, Jonathan Tiersten :) we met him after taking a break from the Fest at a nearby bar and ended up chatting with him the rest of the night. he gave us a free copy of the movie and was of course nice enough to snap a pic

Fred Williamson (aka the Hammer) from From Dusk Till Dawn

and last but not least the very first Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, Ari Lehman

he was also very cool and had a band that played at the afterparty (which i also attended ;)

the actor i originally went to see ended up not being there, John Philbin from the first Children Of The Corn movie. but i got myself a giant Children Of The Corn II movie poster to make up for it :) i also got all these great autographs

and my sis got me all these horror movies as Bday gifts

i have to mention that i just recently saw some of Trick 'r Treat and it was fucking awesome, absolutely my kind of horror flick. can't wait to see the rest. i don't have many pics (or much recollection :p) from the after parties that i attended as i was of course pretty wasted by that point ;). but this guy kept me company as i waited for a taxi home the next morning

definitely turned out to be one of the best birthday's ever. i always goto clubs and raves so it was nice to do something a little different and really enjoy the fact i was born in October :)

i am not ashamed to admit that i did absolutely nothing today :p

Surprise! here's my new official blog guys :) sorry it's totally bare, had no time to really customize it yet :P but guess what? i'll be doing an installment here called Immature, my 365 to 30. going to chronicle my entire year before i hit the big 3-0! so follow my journey, there's really no telling what might happen ;)
