please direct your eyes to the top of the page for a brand new banner i put together. and you also may have noticed i changed the layout a bit so i can post larger sized photos, not to mention it's just more aesthetically pleasing. just need to change the sidebar a bit and i'll be done updating. 

if there's a chance anyone reading has been around since the start of yOyOInWickedland you might notice i've had the same background the entire time. i've never changed it and probably never will :) i remember throwing it together really quickly (after tossing out a bunch of time consuming failed attempts first) but thinking it fit everything i was going for perfectly. so that'll be hanging around for awhile.

finally putting into action something i should of taken care of ages ago. can't say much more so i'll leave it at that.

i hate to say it but it looks like i won't be making it back for Rock On The Range this year, first time in five years i won't be attending :( it sucks because the line up is pretty badass and there are some older bands on the bill that i haven't seen live in a long time. but it seems like more than half the people who make that fest a good time aren't going either. not to mention it's always a challenge to see and i want to save my money for a show i have a better chance of getting front row at. so no telling when i'll be making it back to the Mid West this year. i not only want to see friends and fam but i REALLY want to get the rest of my belongings, especially my clothes :p so many i regret leaving behind now. 

i may not be going home anytime soon but one of my friends is coming here to visit next month :) so that'll be fun. it's already feeling like Spring Break around here (lots of tourist) so i'm sure there'll be plenty of parties to rage at.

H A I R

spent the day reinstalling my dreads and finally got the light pink color out :):) it's strange how much better I feel finally having my hair looking the way I want :p it's just hair and it was only a few dreads hidden in the back but I'm happy to have them gone. I'm also just really fond of the burgundy color, I'm thinking of mixing it in with the loose pink extension when I get around to redoing those (in a month or so). Still have some work left to do here as well ;) I should be done by the end of the weekend.

N A I L W O R K

I don't want to turn this blog into a place where I do reviews on different kind of beauty products and whatnot. But when I find a cool product that works I definitely want to share it with my readers. I picked up a bottle of this new Revlon Matte Top Coat polish today after getting sick of the shiny ones I normally use.

I must say it's pretty awesome for not being one of the more professional brands. It goes on smooth and dries fast and the final effect is pretty nice looking. The only drawback so far is it's still susceptible to fingerprints and nicks even after an hour or more of drying :p but they are barely noticeable and I think if you're careful the first few hours it'll dry without imperfections. I recommend it and I would buy again ^-^

i'm thinking it's time my blog layout and overall look get an update. will be working on a new banner tonight and also playing around with where everything goes (plus add tags to past entries...like i said i'd do sometime last year :p). i'm starting tonight but it always takes me awhile to settle on a final design so i probably won't have it all published for a few days. stay tuned.

excited to announce i'll be bringing my Bubble Kandi Cuffs back to the store! these are by far my favorite kandi bracelets to make and just when i introduced them to the store a year ago i moved and was unable to get the beads. but while trying to use up the ones i had left to make these new bracelets pictured below i decided to search online since it'd been awhile, and i found somewhere to purchase them ^-^ super happy about it.

these are a new cut down bangle style but i'll be bringing the original colors of cuffs back plus new color combos after i re-up my supply! i'll probably have these up for sale by tomorrow.

also random iPhone pic :p these are my lounging clothes which i frequently wear while i work ;) kind of an oxymoron, i know

you unfortunately can't see it well in this pic, but it'll be the last of me rocking my Death Eater cuff bracelet :( i looked down during the day and it was just gone, didn't even feel it fall off. RIP.

going out tonight to the Pink Mammoth 9th Year Anniversary party which was the first party i went to last year when i moved here. this pic is not the complete outfit and w/o makeup but i have minimum time to post. i'm sure you'd expect i'd take this opportunity to go totally pink but i wanted to rock something different. i will however be adding mainly only pink accessories.
